The revelation that propelled our company into existence was realizing the power and potential of data management tools that run over a web browser.  Having already been formally trained in Web Development and educated in Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering (MST University of Pittsburgh),  Patrick saw from both sides the coming of a new age of technology in the merger of hardware progress and software development advancements.  From a software standpoint, data management tools have become the standard in enterprise business solutions.  With the advancement of this technology, which now makes the tools completely feasible online, coupled with the maturity of the Internet, the time is right to make the leap into online web-based data management development.

The challenge wasn't in providing solutions to help businesses "work smarter", but rather in creating better solutions than ones that were already in existence.  Having a deeper understanding of technology than most software developers, Patrick hand selected a team of core developers. They began research on software development from a hardware perspective. Functionality is important but loses its edge if the solution is not deployed in the most efficient manner possible.  Our solutions are not developed as much as they are engineered.  They are engineered to deliver the maximum performance from hardware (leveraging maximum speed and reliability) up through the final software product (creating usability and look).  Every member of the team has a degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and extensive work experience with hardware and Internet Technology. Patrick  taught C++, Telecommunications, and Web Development at the University of Pittsburgh. This admittedly is an odd myriad of skill sets to teach, but when married, provide the essential tools needed to comprehensively develop web-based data management tools.

Our development environment is focused on Microsoft's latest web development tool, Visual Studio.NET and ported to Macromedia Dreamweaver for usability testing.  Our data farm utilizes Microsoft's latest database enterprise solution, Microsoft SQL server. The language we write our application in is ASP.NET, Microsoft's latest and industry leading foray into web development.
